During last week's BlizzCon, Blizzard revealed that Hearthstone is getting an auto-battler mode, similar to what you might experience in Auto Chess. Weird, right? In today's NGT, Dan Tack shows Leo and me that it makes a lot more sense than you might initially think.
Dan plays through a couple of matches, painstakingly walking us through every one of his strats. Unfortunately, the RNG gods may not have looked favorably upon us. Look. You win some, you lose some. And sometimes you just lose some. Get 'em next time, tiger!
An emergent trend in gaming is the rise of cloud-powered game streaming. PlayStation Now has tackled this concept for half a decade, allowing players to stream games to their PS4 and PC. Xbox upped the ante recently with Project xCloud which enables Xbox One games to stream to mobile devices. Google Stadia, which launches in two weeks, hinges its entire ecosystem on leveraging Google's servers to stream video games.
There might be a new competitor. Steam Database, a group that tracks changes to Steam, has found a code update that includes something called Steam Cloud Gaming. Here's the GitHub document that details the new source code. This discovery comes from an upcoming "Steam Cloud Gaming Addendum," which seems to be an updated distribution agreement that Valve will ask partners to sign.
Today's contest puts a Blu-ray copy of Hobbs & Shaw up for grabs!
I think I watched the first three Fast & Furious movies, but lost track somewhere around Fast & Furious in Space 2. They've really made a lot of those movies at this point. The good news is, they've embraced the full-on action aspects of the whole thing and actually look like a really good time, these days.
So, they're already on spin-offs! For what it's worth, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are great, and look like they have a ton of chemistry in this one. So, give Hobbs & Shaw a chance and enjoy some good old-fashioned, action-oriented car porn!
This feature is a part of a series on the best films of the 2010s, resulting from our ranked top 25, which you can read here. This is #6.
"The Wolf of Wall Street" didn't really open in theatres in 2013. Rather, it galloped into town, whooping and hollering, guns blazing. The film was, I suppose, a commentary on "the times" but it went deeper than that: the present is also the past—the past predicts how things usually play out, even though nobody ever listens—and the present also serves as a warning (albeit a very weak one) for the future.
"The Wolf of Wall Street" is the story of Jordan Belfort, who pleaded guilty in 1999 to charges of stock market...
Sega has announced plans to release a demo for its upcoming anime RPG Project Sakura Wars. The preview will be available to download from the PlayStation Store in Japan from November 21.
The demo, which was announced during a press event in Sapporo, Japan yesterday, will give players the opportunity to try out both the game's character-based adventure as well as it's tactical mech-led warfare. There was no word of a demo for the western release, but its possible we'll see one nearer the localisation's 2020 release date.
Project Sakura Wars launches on PS4 in Japan December 12, before heading west in 2020.
Publisher Reef has released a gameplay video featuring 10 minutes of footage from its upcoming first-person shooter Terminator: Resistance, which launches soon on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
The preview video features the game's opening, as the human's continue the Future War against Skynet in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, 30 years after the cataclysmic events of Judgement Day. Terminator: Resistance will let players step into the role of Jacob Rivers, facing-off against familiar and unfamiliar units from the Terminator universe, while completing quests and objectives to help provide hope to the future of the human race.
Your actions both out under fire and when interacting with fellow humans will alter the course of Rivers' future, as well as the future of your friends and associates. Just remember to carry a half-burned photograph and steal a pair of sweet Nike's while you're at it. Along with the gameplay overview, a separate trailer looks at Terminator...

Publisher: Night School Studio Developer: Night School Studio Release: October 29, 2019 Rating: Rating Pending Reviewed on: PC Also on: PlayStation 4, Xbox One
Alcohol has a sinister temptation that can lead to excess. Bad and embarrassing things often come with a night of overindulgence, from losing inhibitions to waking up hungover. Night School Studio, best known for its breakout hit Oxenfree, leverages that by making alcohol the centerpiece of Hell. But before you think this is just a game about partying, think again. Afterparty is at its strongest when it subverts your expectations, explores relatable topics about life and death, and is okay with not having all the answers.
We all have our own ideas about Hell, but Night School Studio created an intriguing version in which everyone works...
Originally arriving for the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013, Gunslinger sees and old fella in a saloon recount his tall tales of his six-shootin' days to a group of strangers, with each progressively less-believable story playing out as each of the game's stages, which is a really neat concept.
The Nintendo Switch re-release will include motion control and HD Rumble options, alongside all of the rootin'-tootin' varmit shootin' action of the original release. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will be available to download from the eShop December 10, priced at around $20.
